About
One of the world's great botanical gardens on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain in Newlands, with 528 hectares of indigenous plants, the famous Boomslang canopy walkway, open lawns for picnics, and summer sunset concerts. Baby and toddler friendly with pram-accessible paths on the lower gardens. One of Cape Town's most rewarding family outings at any time of year. The garden is open every day from 08h00 to 19h00 during summer (Sep-Mar), 08h00 to 18h00 during winter (Apr-Aug).
