A well-preserved Victorian-era fort on a hilltop south of Pretoria with panoramic city views and a military museum inside covering the Anglo-Boer War era. The old cannons, armoured vehicles, tunnels, and intact fortifications are genuinely exciting for children aged 5 and up. A short but memorable outing that doesn't require a lot of prior knowledge to enjoy.
